Wild Rice Pudding

Rice pudding is one of our families favorite breakfasts and treats. In the past our rice pudding consisted of white rice, sugar and whole milk. Now with the health decisions we have made we have changed our recipe so it does not contain white rice, sugar or dairy. The best part? Our kids still love this rice pudding even though its healthy!

Wild Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon almond milk
  • 3 cups wild rice
  • 3/4-1 cup honey
  • 1-2 T. coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Cook first two ingredients until desired thickness
  2. Turn the heat off
  3. Add honey & coconut oil
  4. Add essential oils or spices if desired (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, or vanilla)
